It is the policy of Simply the Best Cleaning Ltd to conduct our business at all times without risk to our workers, the workers of our clients, others utilising or in the vicinity of the areas where we are working, and to the community. The occupational health and safety of people involved in the company's activities are a matter of utmost importance.
We are committed to providing and maintaining a safe and healthy working environment and to the continued improvement of the health and safety performance of the company.
Our focus on safety and health was recognised at the BSCNZ biannual CleanSweep Awards when we were awarded Supreme Winner – Health and Safety.
Chemicals and Equipment Used
The knowledge and experience of our workers is a valuable resource and through working together and consulting on health and safety issues we believe we will be a more effective team.
All workers have a responsibility to identify hazards, report all accidents, incidents and near misses and assist in the ongoing improvement of the Health and Safety Management System.
Every worker is required to share in the commitment of the Health and Safety policy.
Simply The Best use cleaning chemicals designed and manufactured by Geller, a family-run, kiwi-owned business, who manufacture right here in New Zealand. Like us, they are also Dunedin based.

All equipment used by Simply the Best is "industry standard" meaning that it complies with New Zealand electrical safety standards, is checked and certified every six months, and all repairs are carried out by a registered electrician.

Policy:
Simply the Best is committed to eliminating the risk of illness to employees and other personnel resulting from passive smoking and vaping in the workplace.
In compliance with the Smokefree Environments and Regulated Products Act 1990 and the Smokefree Environments and Regulated Products (Vaping) Amendment Act 2020, and in line with medical evidence, smoking and vaping is prohibited at all Simply The Best places of work and in Company owned vehicles.
